Bathroom Remodeling

Maximize Your Bathroom Remodel

You can easily spend thousands of dollars remodeling your bathroom. If you want all the modern bells and whistle and plan on moving everything around, Remodeling estimates that you could spend upwards of $50,000. Most of us don’t have that kind of money lying around, but don’t despair.

With help from Indy Renovation, you can stay within your remodeling budget and select upgrades that will matter most.

1. Don’t change the footprint.

If your bathroom layout is functional, don’t make any major changes to it. Moving walls and fixtures can really start to add up, so focus on making the most of what you have.

2. Think cosmetic.

Exchanging outdated pink ceramic tiles for modern, custom tiles can do wonders for any bathroom. Think of other cosmetic (surface) changes you can make that would go a long way: change out light fixtures, install a new vanity top and hardware, freshen the paint color, and so on.

3. Find a few ways to splurge.

Upgrades like a deluxe shower head, a unique light fixture, or new flooring can really make a bathroom seem luxurious instead of ordinary. If you’re trying to sell your home, these little details can go a long way to catch buyers’ eyes (and if you aren’t selling, you get to enjoy them!).

Indy Renovation can help you with these and any other bathroom remodeling ideas you might have for your Indianapolis, Carmel, or Fishers home. We love taking a bathroom that’s just “vanilla” and making it a space you want to spend some time in, to relax after a long day. From the contracting work to the plumbing, we can do it all at Indy Renovation.
