Custom Showers

3 Reasons To Put in a Custom Shower

You’re in the process of remodeling your bathroom. However, the sheer number of decisions you have to make can often make your head start to hurt. Currently, you’re trying to decide whether to stick with your existing fiberglass tub/shower insert or to rip it all out to install a custom shower. At Indy Renovation, we’re always a fan of a quality custom shower, and we’ll give you three reasons why.

1. Get the features you want.

With run-of-the-mill bathtub and shower combos, you don’t get any room to really pick and choose design or features. They typically come in a few generic styles and colors. However, with a custom shower, you can include all the special features you want, including custom tile, a shower bench, frameless glass door, and more.

2. Maximize your space.

When you’re redesigning your bathroom, you can make your shower as large or as small as you want. Many people opt for a large, walk-in shower with a bench or multiple shower heads, but if space is a concern, you can also do a really classy custom shower with frameless glass that doesn’t take up a ton of square footage. You get to customize your shower to your space and your needs.

3. Stand out from the crowd.

In terms of resale value, buyers in Indianapolis tend to notice a quality custom shower. Those bathroom features—especially in a master bathroom—tend to stick in buyers’ minds and may help be a determining factor in whether they buy your home. So if you foresee selling your home in the near future, a custom shower may be a great option.

At Indy Renovation, we love custom showers and can give you even more reasons why one might be right for you. To find out more or to get a free estimate on bathroom remodeling, contact our team today at (317) 375-4464
